Can I bring a friend?

No Guest Policy

At Metaphysical ink, we believe in providing a focused, personal experience for every client. To ensure this, we have a No Guest Policy in place.

Policy Details:

  1. Appointments Only: Only individuals with scheduled appointments are permitted in the studio. No guests or companions are allowed during your tattoo session to maintain a calm and distraction-free environment.

  2. Personal Connection: Your tattoo is a deeply personal experience, and we take pride in curating an experience tailored specifically to you. Having a one-on-one session ensures we can connect without distractions and focus fully on bringing your vision to life.

  3. Exceptions: If you have certain needs that requires assistance, please let us know ahead of time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing you with an exceptional, personal tattoo experience.

What is your pricing like?

Our Pricing Breakdown:

  1. Pricing Per Piece:
All tattoos are priced based on the specifics of your design. Size, placement, color, and complexity play a significant role in determining the final price. We encourage you to be as detailed as possible when filling out your inquiry form to ensure an accurate quote.

  2. Shop Minimum:
Our shop minimum is $150. This applies to all tattoos, no matter how small.

  3. Hourly Range (only for reference):
If we were to estimate the time required, our hourly rate would range between $100-$175 per hour, depending on the complexity of the design.

  4. Receiving a Quote:
The only way to receive an accurate quote is by submitting an inquiry form through our website. This allows us to understand your tattoo ideas fully and provide a fair price based on your specific requirements.

How does your design process work?

When you book with me, you're confident in my ability to create your tattoo. I don't do pre-designs or consultations, so you're booking for the full experience.

  • On the day of your appointment. You’ll share your ideas, and I’ll sketch it out while you’re sitting right in front of me so we can make any changes or adjustments together on the spot.

  • After we’ve made adjustments, we’ll finalize the design in person. Once you’re happy with it, we’re ready to stencil and start tattooing.

  • This process also ensures I’m compensated for my time and energy spent on creating your custom tattoo during the session.

  • It’s a simple, personal, and collaborative process that ensures you get exactly what you want while saving time with clear, in-person communication.

Additional Information

  • Please don’t use numbing cream when coming in for a tattoo, it can affect the elasticity of your skin and may impact the color of the ink. Because of this I prefer you don’t use it!

  • Be on Time: Please don’t arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment, and no later than 5 minutes after.

    Late by More than 20 Minutes?: If you’re more than 20 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited, and you’ll need to resubmit one to reschedule your session.

  • Hydration is Key: Stay hydrated in the week leading up to your appointment. Drinking plenty of water and moisturizing your skin will help your tattoo process and healing.

    No Alcohol: Please avoid alcohol for 3 days before your appointment. It can thin your blood, affecting the tattoo process.

  • I typically have one admin day a week where I catch up on DMs, inquiries, and scheduling emails. Please be patient with me—after a long day of tattooing, I might not have the mental energy to respond right away, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
